You could almost say that Margaux was born in a bottle—her mother ran an independent perfumery in Brittany. Thus, Margaux was immersed in fragrances, from 20th-century classics to the creations of the early 2000s.
She was fascinated by this parade of people searching for their olfactory identity.
She dreamed, in turn, of creating these magical scents that provoked so many emotions.
Becoming a perfumer was a natural choice for Margaux, a graduate of the École Supérieure du Parfum and perfumer at Flair - the perfume creation studio founded by Amélie Bourgeois and Anne-Sophie Behaghel.
What attracts her most is free creation, the kind that allows her to go beyond the simple scent and instead gravitates toward experimental scents.
This is one of the reasons why Margaux enjoys working with visual artists. With brands, the conceptual dimension is different. It's expressed more in the way we can put ourselves in the shoes of the brand. It's an exercise in adaptability that Margaux also enjoys: putting herself in the shoes of her clients to create their ideal perfume, with that surprising twist that will give them that unique aura.
Margaux's stunning creations for Ideo Parfumeurs will soon be revealed; stay tuned!
